Tuesday, February 24, 2004   Ha just thought you all should know I threw a diva tantrum today. Mariah and Natalie, whom I have now knnown for over half a year, called me Julia and I got "WHAT did you call me?" and they go "Julia." And I was went off about how I know their names and why don't they have enough respect to know mine and blah blah. They told me TWB calls me Julia, which is totally untrue. So I was mad, and everyone unfortunate to be in the vincinity heard about it. Sorry, guys. Having a diva moment. Cara might help me find an audition song for Chicago because she is oh so wise in the ways of musical theatre. Gotta go do dishes now before my mother kills me. That blog - Sunday: Here it is: It wasn't directed at anyone in particular, I just read some things on peoples blogs about friends of mine from summer musicals (blogs none of my wives read, I don't think - I mean, you don't know the people) and I was angry and frustrated with how petty everything in high school is, not that I don't gossip. But I just think people should butt out of things that aren't serious. I dunno. It was just a vent. I like to vent on my blog once in a while. Anywho, this weekend was fun - sorta. I went up to Chicago on Friday morning. I got there at about 4:30 and got ready for dinner. I ate with Laura and her friend Jenn and her roomate Christina. They sat by me and talked to me like I was a college student! It was awesome; they were so so cool. And then I went to Laura's show The House of Blue Leaves. OMG! It was friggin hilarious! And Maimee, Meryl Streeps' daughter is the SPITTING IMAGE of her mother. It was weird. But she was a really good actress, and so was the other female lead. My sister is an awesome director! It was such a good play. I was cracking up, but then at times I was moved almost to tears. There were also some great monolouges I'm gonna use. And there was this hot hot guy who was a freshman - 18 and single and I sat by him for the second show (we saw both the 8:00 and 11:00 shows) and it was awesome! The first time I got to sit by Laura, and I even helped with some stuff for the show. So all that was cool. Then I met Maimee, and she was really cool. But from there on it was all downhill. Her parents weren't there so I didn't get to meet Meryl after all - she was going to the Sat. night show and I went to the Friday nights. Then Laura went out after the show to go drinking and I couldn't go, but her friend Mellissa who was in town got to go and I was sad. I had to go out and buy pads at 2:30 in the morning because the hotel lied and said they would provide if people forgot, then they didn't have them, so my dad took me to the Walgreens at 2:30 and it was kinda awkward but who cares. Then Saturday morning my mom, dad sister and I went to the Pancake House OMG it was soooo good. Chocolate chippie pancakes - yummy yummy in my tummy! Then we went grocery shopping with my sister and got her a lotta stuff. Then I went to her apartment and helped do her dishes which were ridiculous and I organized because the place was a mess and it drove me crazy. I know, I know. OCD. But it only took about 15 minutes. So it was all good. Laura told me this really hot sophomore in the play said " who was that girl with you last night?" and Laura points to Mellissa and says "Her?" and he says "No the other girl..." And she says "My sister?" He goes "yeah! that's it! How old is she" she says "17" He says "so she's a senior?" and Laura says "No, a junior..." and he goes "OH! well, she's a PRETTY junior!" THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT! Anywho, college guys are fun! Hee hee I can't wait. Also, everytime I told someone I was ajunior they said "In college?" and i had to say no... oh well, I should've lied. So all in all, it wasn't a bad trip. I didn't get to spend a whole lotta time with Laura, and I didn't get to meet Meryl Streep, but I saw an awesome show, and .... other stuff above-mentioned. OH! More good news! I am so escited because on Friday I get to miss school to drive up to Chicago to see my sister's play which she directed. Maimee Gummer is in the play. For those who don't know, Maimee is Meryl Streep's daughter, so if Maimee's mom comes the night I come, I'll get to meet Meryl Streep! How cool would that be! Yeah. I love visiting Laura at college because I get to look all cute and all the guys ask "Are you her big sister or her little sister?" It makes her sooooooo mad. AND I get to meet this really hottttt college freshman. That's not too old for me, is it? NO!!!! Surely not?! Will he be interested in me? Now I'm dreaming... *giggles* SO anyWHO it will be cool. Also, I have a kick-butt audition song, but how well it fits the shows I'm auditioning for is yet to be determined. No more said here. Also, Lincoln Ampitheatre is doing "Young Abe Lincoln" and prolley "Fiddler" again. So that means: auditions at EVSC, Warrick, ACT, and Lincoln Ampitheatre. So I have to go I'm at Em-em's house and I have to leave soon and I also have to help her clean hr messy messy pigsty room. But it sucks because my stomach hurts like a mother. You know that pain where you just want to kill yourself? Yeah, that's what I had. I wonder if I'll do anything this Valentine's Day. Maybe Octavius and I will go out. It would be nice to have a date on Valentine's Day for once. Otherwise it's Singles Awareness Day. Also I'm going to Emily R.'s house on V-day and she, Sarah and I are gonna have a good time. We'll have a campfire and all that jazz. I love my EMILY! Too bad Alyse can't come, but she's out with her guy. Oh well, maybe I'll go visit her. OH! I love my Laine and Marc! Since I was sick today, they came to my house after school and brought me a rose and Mini Cheese Nips. It made me so so happy! I was really confused though because I heard a guy's voice and then a girl going "Joo-lie? Joo-lie?" And I didnt have my glasses on so I couldn't see who it was and I go "Who's there?" just like Josh in the play. They were cracking up. Anyway, I must go now. Turns out my husband likes my friend and not me. Oh well. I have other husbands. I hope Guzzo gets the number. This is not gonna make sense to anyone, so I'll stop talking in code now. Bear A spent the weekend at my house. It was great. She is allergic to Suki, though, so that's sad. But yeah. I really don't make much sense, do I? The play went really really well Friday, minus the fact that Marcus was and hour and ten minutes late and we had to hold the show for 5 minutes till he was ready. Turns out he was asleep till 7. Our call time being 6:30, that didn't work out too well. But the play itself went really well. And then Tommy and Andrew and Aaron were pushing me around on the ice. I started falling and Tommy caught me like 2 inches from the ice. It was great. Then Brandsassy jumped on my trunk and I just kept backing up and it was hilarious. Anyway, I'm gonna go. After this, I'm going to Day School to ask Mr. Hebebrandt if we can perform Bang Bang You're Dead for the school cuz it rocks!!!! Everyone did really well. EVERYONE!! It made me happy. Ashley and Brandon came with Harmony and she is soooooooo cute! She has got to be the happiest baby I've ever seen! My grandma cried when I sang because she thought it was so good, even though it was a happy song. LOL. Grandparents are like that. So any who... Super Bowl was today. Football is so dumb. I mean it's like RUN RUN RUN and then hit each other and then stop. And talk and talk and talk and talk about the running and smashing. I mean, come on. Tag football is fun to play (not that I would do it unless I had to for gym) but it is so stupid to watch. Sorry, football fans. The commercials are the only good part of it.
