Avenue J
My musical of a life. I often break out into song. Deal with it. :) Don't stress. Relax. Let life roll off your back.

Okay sorry such a long to be continued. Anyway...

    Day 4:

    - going to the beach and getting burnt
    - watching Aunt Laura take Sierra and Aden on a jet-ski ride (i was jealous)
    - seeing my entire (almost) family at this one beach and eating at a restaurant with some of them
    - seeing the ice show: Planet Ice. Sounds dumb, I know. But it was amazing! Really. (guy in wheel, couples, solos, clowns, weird songs, chess games played on ice)
    - hanging out with Ben and George and seeing the ship's wake
    - meeting a really friendly group of people. Why so friendly, you ask? They were high. Of course. No one's just nice nowadays. LOL.
    - limbo and dancing
    - Laura almost getting in a fight with these drunk kids
    - meeting robby (who asked if george was my dad "yeah, i had her when I was 2 and her when i was 7" and then if he was my boyfriend. we both just looked and each other and were like "Ummm, no. Not at all.")
    - Dizzy's Jazz lounge (actually, I think that was closer to day 1 or 2)

    Day 5: Cozumel (Thanksgiving)

    - renting a bright green convertable VW bug and taking Stacie with my mom, dad, sister and I at the last minute.
    - going to the most remote beach on the island and seeing Uncle Bob there
    - opening the convertable roof and getting poured on while I pleaded with a bus driver who was trying to pass us not to because the road wasn't big enough
    - going to this little beach restaurant for lunch and eating mahi-mahi and meeting two dumb guys
    - going to one final beach to swim
    - Thanksgiving dinner (which wasn't all that great)
    - Going to a party with Nick (I don't know if that was day 5, but it doesn't really matter)

Day 6: Costa Maya (I think? or was it another island?? I dunno)
    - kayaking with Laura (we were really bad and made three 360 turns trying to fight the current)
    - Audrey was our leader (cool Jamaican dude)and my dad trying to be cool with him ("yeah, i was black once too ya know"..."i am very familiar with coastal waters"... well, okay, he didn't really say those things but he did say "Audrey liked us the best. No really, he did.")
    - snorkeling: my dad told me not to be the last one in so I was out there with this guy and his daughter who couldn't have been much older than 10 and he told her that they were going in in 5 minutes, so I thought I'd head in with them. Then they started swimming really fast and being like "GO GO GO" and when I asked what was wrong they were like "SHARK!" so I didn't really believe them but i had to go in with them cause my dad said not to be out there alone. We got about half way in and the dad was panting. "Well, that was scary. It was either a really big fish or a shark. I'm not sure" so know I'm thinking, you know, he doesn't know what he's talking about it was prolley just a big fish and then the little girl goes "daddy! another one!" so, thinking she's making it up, I stick my head under and see it! It's like, 2.5 feet long, which isn't that big, but it was only about a yard away from me so the dad goes "SWIM SWIM SWIM! Try not to splash, stay together, and go as fast as you can!" So we did. And we were fine. Of course. But it's a great story!
    - seeing stephanie get a bow sun-burnt into her back (she fell asleep on her stomach in the sun and got burnt everywhere except where her bikini had been tied in a bow)
    - hanging out with Ben
    - midnight buffet (hydrolic doors that shut us out)

    Day 7: at sea
    - getting up at one (yes, one in the afternoon)
    - doing the trivia with my family at the table
    - missing my mom doing a cooking thing which was supposedly hilarious
    - the backstage tour (bad crowd . . . AGAIN!!! :( was what they had written on the dry-erase board about us)
    - watching part of the belly-flopping contest
    - climbing the rock wall and beating a personal record with jutting-out parts
    - getting one last coke from phil, Laura's "favorite" bartender (who had kind of saved her when an 18 year old was hitting on her)
    - swimming and seeing the most beautiful guy ever!!!!!!!!!!!! (way too old, though)
    - getting all formal for dinner
    - stacie's prom (has got it goin on)
    - hanging out with ben one last time in "our spot" on the top deck
    - steph saying to laura "eww a skank" when laura was wearing steph's shirt
    - the goodbye show (amazing awesome) with Ben (who my grandma adores, btw)
    - staying out and partying in The Chamber till 3 in the morning with Nick and Michelle
    - being the last one in bed cuz i was party-hardying

The end! The flight back was uneventful except for my grandma's necklace thing - long story. Anyway, in case you can't tell, i had a blast!

Today I got handle put on my bathroom drawers. Yayness.

Sad news - Laura Krupp, a very old family friend whom I have known since birth, passed on yesterday. We miss you, Laura.

    God bless.
